About Me

I’m a Research Scholar working in the field of biomedical sciences, with a growing focus on liver disease and cancer biology. I hold an M.Sc. in Molecular Medicine and Stem Cell Technologies, and I’m currently working at the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences, where my research focuses on liquid biopsy approaches and biomarker development for hepatocellular carcinoma.

The work is challenging at times, but also incredibly meaningful. My broader research interests lie at the intersection of genomics, epigenetics, and translational medicine. I’m particularly interested in developing predictive biomarkers that support earlier diagnosis and ultimately improve patient outcomes.

Along the way, I’ve contributed to peer-reviewed publications and several projects, which has helped shape both my scientific perspective, skills and communication skills.

Outside the lab, I try to stay connected to science outreach and cancer awareness initiatives. I genuinely believe research should extend beyond institutional walls and become accessible to the people it’s meant to serve. When I’m not working with experiments or data, you’ll probably find me writing poetry, practicing semi-classical singing, or spending time outdoors hiking or camping. I also enjoy cooking and experimenting with new recipes, and I have a persistent love for horror films, even the ones that are objectively terrible.
